In response to Valencia's exit from the Addicts cup to Merseyside's greatest club Liverpool,Liverpool released the following statement,

We went into this competition with our poor form in the league o show,bottom of division 4 with 1 poitn from a possible 9,hopefully this will kickstart our season in the league as well.
