Prediction: Sampdoria 2-2 Juventus

Battle of the italian giants, Sampdoria have been the opposite of Juventus in the transfer market by splashing big money on big players. Sampdorias talisman Antonio Cassano will lead the attack after Giampaulo Pazzini was sold during the transfer market. Juventus on the other hand havent signed anybody but they have kept prized assets Giorgio Chillini and Gigi Buffon, Juventus have problems at the back, thats un-usual for an italian team as there strength lies in the attack department, Krasic,Del Piero and Laquinta will cause havoc for Sampdorias new defence. Udinese v Inter Milan

Prediction : Udinese 1-5 Inter Milan

Inter Milan are sure favourites here, although they sold Samuel Eto they still have plenty of firepower to blow over Udinese. Scar who took over Udinese will be relying on the attacking talents of Antonio Di Natale and Alexis Sanchez to salvage a result but that is very unlikely against a powerful Inter Milan side, Expect SSJ Mario 2009 to pick up all 3 points with ease

Wolfsburg v Lyon

Prediction : Wolfsburg 3-1 Lyon

Wolfsburg shocked everybody in the transfer market by snapping up Samuel Eto but it came at a cost, They had to sell Edin Dzeko and Eto has big shoes to fill. Wolfsburg should come through this with ease but under estimating Lyon who have an amazing bunch of youngsters such as Gourcuff and Bastos. This game will be close but it will be decided by Samuel Eto's clinical finishing.

Everton v Wolfsburg

Everton face an Wolfsburg side that are full of confidence under manager LancashireHaz, The goodison faithful will need to get behind there team if they are to have any chance of picking up points againt the german powerhouse. Inter Milan v Bayern Munchen

A re-run of last years champions league final but this time i believe that it will be the other way around. Inter Milan sold Lucio to Bayern and they will regret this as there defence will get ripped to shreds in this game. Techno NOR who is a great motivator of players will find it hard to fit in all his attacking talents and he will need to keep them happy. Inter Milan have Edin Dzeko in there side and when you have him in your side you always stand a chance but the likelyhood is that without a good defence, you wont be able to handle Robben and Ribery

Juventus v Udinese

Prediction : Juventus 5-1 Udinese

It seems Udinese are the whipping boys, placed in a tough group they face another tough trip and this time it is to Italy, Krasic and co will cause nightmares for the minnows defence and i predict a thumping and powerful display from Aboodys men which will send out a warning to the other teams in the league and which will also condemn Udinese to the bottom of the table

Lyon v Sampdoria

Prediction : Lyon 1-3 Sampdoria

Sampdoria dont have a good away record but Lyon are being managed under EdNick, He is tactically astute, The french side will fancy there chances against the men from Italy but he is in for a rude awakening, Lyon's defence will be under pressure from Cassano and Ballack and this will prove way to much for the in-experianced side. Expect Samp to stun the home fans into silence.
