We have been placed in this European competition,not because we didn't perform well,but because the Champions League players performed better,but these games and this league will prove we can hack it withsome really good teams and managers playing here.

Group 1

Bayern Munich

Inter Milan

Celtic

Galatasaray

This will be a tighter group than expected,only 7 points seperated Celtic and Bayern in Div 2,whereas 25 seperated Galatasaray and Inter in Div 1,

Bayern Munich as Runners up

Group 2

Real Madrid

Sevilla

Bordeaux

Fiorentina

Only 7 points seperated Bordeaux and Sevilla in Div 2 and onlt 5 points seperated Real and Fiorentina,another close group.

Group 3

Everton

Manc Utd

Marseille

Hamburg

A  large 19 points seperated Everton and Marseille in div 2 and 17 points between the Mancs and Hamburg,this is probably the hardest group to predict.

Roma

Porto

Spurs

Villa

1 point seperated Roma and Villa in the league and 9 points seperated Porto and Spurs,

Porto will be the strongest in this group,with the other teams  fighting for runners up.

All the teams in the Europa league seem to be pretty evenly matched so it will be an interesting competition,good luck guys and remember,a dog is not only for xmas,sometimes you marry them!

Appreciate the thumbs up bud,but as i said at the beginning of the post,every one is pretty evenly matched,i can't see any "big" wins in the Europa league,we are one,we are our own,we are not the big money spending clubs that sit on there lofty perch of the Champions league looking down upon the lesser mortals.

The Champions League is not a league for Gods,

This is the league for gods and legends will be borne and told of what happens here.

People will speak about our Europa league in whispers on childrens lips for millenia to come,it WILL be that important,not only to us,but to every man and woman that walks this earth,children will look up to us,want to be like us. Expectant mothers will name there children after us,we ARE THAT important,

we will become legends,

we WILL become heroes,

WE ARE FIFA ADDICTS!

Jay, that is genius writing mate.  Absolute class! The winner of the EL will be crowned 'The People's Champion'

Blackbox, a war of attrition beckons in all these groups, as Jay says it will be really tight.  I will therefore be using a new 8-1-1 system to stop you getting your revenge!

Stilll some games to be played from last weeks Europa league,

But this weeks fixtures will see who is progressing to the knock out phase.

In group 1,German giants Bayern Munich are pulling away for the rest,with Galtasaray only 3 points behind,But Celtic and Inter will still have some say as to who goes through.

Group 2

Fiorentina top the group,albeit from a controversal decision against Real Madrid for 3 points and a win over Bordeaux.

No other teams have played in this league yet,but the return leg at the Bernabeau should be special.

Fiorentina the only team in the driving seat at the mo,so can't say who else may or may not qualify.

Group 3

Everton already look to have this league in the bag with 3 straight wins but Utd still have to play a game.

Utd,Marseille and Hamburg will all be looking to go through with Everton.

Group 4

Is the most open group of the lot,Porto,Roma,Spurs and Villa have all played at least 1 game,but only 4 points seperate top from bottom.
