After sevilla president José María Del Nido appointed sevilla new manager after team had fallen in to a losing Streek. The newmanager has done well to bring back sevilla out of it.

After convincing wins with Weder bremen3-1, Liverpool 2-3, Schalke 1-5 and Marseille 0-6. Sevilla went in to this week’s fixtures with hoping to continue their newly found form.

But after a tough home match against Aston Villa, saw Sevilla beaten 4-3.

NabyL had this to say “We started poorly first 20 minutes our defense was at disarray conceding 2 goals. But our boys did well improved on their mistakes and got back in the game soon by qualizing 2-2.  But this is football Aston Villa game back in the game and got back there 2 goal lead. We had countless changes wasted. We deserved more in this game and will take this match as an opportunity to improve ourselves.  This also was an important 3 points for us to stay in the top half of the league. But we failed to take the opportunity.

Sevilla top soccer Luis Fabiano said to say “we played ahard match; we lost concentration and had a hard time getting back in to thegame. This was a disappointing result not only for us but also our fans.

Who saw us in great form these past few weeks”.

We went in to this after the 4-3 defeat knowing we neededimprove on our defense.  We played well in defense and Squillaci had an outstanding match. It was close match where both teams created chances but excellent defensive performance by both teams was leading the game to a nil-nil draw. But a dashing run on the right side might way second half by J.Navas and a stunning cross saw Luis Fabiano scoring the only goal of the match.

NabyL said: “I was a good game we played well in defense Squillaci and J. Navas played a superb match. It wascritical for our win today”.

Squillaci told the media; “It was atight game. Both teams did well. We scored in the second half. After that AstonVilla really started pressure on attack. But we were able to see the matchthrough.

Next week will be a hard week for sevilla because they are facing Athletico Madrid and league leaders Bayer Leverkusen.  Their manager said “we willbe training hard for these matches; Each match we go out on the pitch with nothing then a win in our minds.”

Strong words from the sevilla manager.We will all see how it folds out in the week to come.
