Honestly, I can't see us winning it but a kind draw now and who knows.  Last year, I didn't expect us to get to the final but then we drew Porto followed by Arsenal - teams you would fancy your chances against.  I would say there will be quite a few teams in the last 8 who would fit into that category.

I am getting married the weekend after the final so I'm hoping to have my stag party in Madrid the weekend before!! 

Very valid point bud,but me being a Liverpool fan i cant stand Utd,unfortunately i cant ignore how good they  are this season,that being said how poor we are being this season.The rivalry will always be ther,it will always gall a utd fan to see us doing well and vice versa.

As and England fan,i'm really happy that Rooney is on fire,just dont want to see him succeed at club level.

I actually hope we dont finish 4th,that will force their hand and hopefully Rafa will be gone,the owners will then sell,cheaper than expected and we can get some semblance of stability in the club.Having a season out of the Champs league is only a financial proble,it could benefit us in the league.

The other thing to remember is that it's very rare for a new team to win this trophy, plus we all know how difficult it is to retain it. 

There will be a maximum of 4 teams left who have won it before, United, Barca, Inter (in the European Cup format) and Bayern Munich.  As it's so hard to retain Barca face a tough challenge.  Inter and Bayern can't be discounted but they would be a suprise. 

On that basis, I'm going to predict a United victory and a shit summer for Jay and all other Liverpool fans! 

I defy anyone to challenge my near perfect logic. 

Anything can happen, I honestly think that Inter or Barca will win, but I hope I'm wrong. If Diouf could get the chance to play more often for us, we would win ;D
