The new season has started, new teams and new managers all over the place. It's time for Fifa 10.

As we all know, the league was divided in 2 division, and Atl. Madrid was sent to Div. 2.

The first two games were played, and Atl. Madrid won both of them.

Atl. Madrid vs Roma @ Stadio Olimpico

-The game was extremely closed. Both teams were stuck on the midfield trying to gain possesion of the ball. Forlan opened the scored. Roma's defende Juan, lost the ball in his own box, and Forlan with his speed and strength took advatange and scored. The second goal was scored by Forlan again, thanks to his amazing speed and accurate finishing, he put the ball in the corner for the 2-0. Totti gave some oxygen to his team scoring the only goal for Roma, but it wasn't enough. Atl. Madrid took 3 very important points from the Stadio Olimpico.

Atl. Madrid vs Sevilla

-Two spanish teams competing for the Div. 2 title. This seemed to be a very close match, with both teams depending a lot on their stamina and strength... but it wasnt like this. With 4 goals from Forlan, 2 from Aguero, 2 from Simao, another 2 from Reyes and Raul García, anhhilated Sevilla with an astonishing 10-1, with Fabiano scoring the only goal for the away team.

With these results, Atl. Madrid secured their 1st place spot after the first week. Hopefully they can keep the form and rythm...
