Good morning all Div 1 Fifa Addicts!

A new season is upon us with new format and ideas, and its kicked off already.

2 Divisions of 16 teams means for a longer league, which i think will make it not only more realistic but more fun!

Even though some games have yet to be played we already have a team pulling away from the rest of the pack,

Aboody's revitalised Man Ctiy have already taken maximum points from defeating Ed's Inter Milan and Jayjay Wilsanio's Hamburg with the later being a 4-3 thriller, but can he continue his fine form?

As i said, only a handful of games have been played so far,

in Ed's other game Inter hosted Nikkoz's  Wolfsburg who came away from the San Siro with a win with Obafemi Martins scoring a hat trick in the 1-3 defeat with Ballotelli who was a rumoured target for Fiorentina scoring the only reply.

Ed will not be happy with 2 straight defeats, could his lack of buying in the transfer window hamper him? Who knows, but it is still a very long season with lots to play for.

Benfica tested themselves against Spanish opposition in both of their opening fixtures, but all they could amass was 2 score draws, the 2nd against Villareal was a thrilling 3-3 draw.

The 1st game was against Valencia where there was some disgust following the horrendous tackle by Perreira which resulted in a red card and the game finishing 2-2.

Games still to be played are,

Arsenal  vs AC Milan which will see Peter Dalsgaard up against Lancashirehaaz in what should be a thrilling game, having played both players recently i expect it to be a tough game, finishing in a draw 2-2

Barcelona vs Villareal

sees Priest Vees up against Techno in another thrilling encounter, not sure on the outcome of this one,but wil go for the home win 2-1

Porto vs Tottenham

See's Aimmox pitted against Mr Mania, with neither team doing much in the transfer window it could be a drab Europa league type affair, have to side with the home team though 2-1

Fiorentina vs Real Madrid

Jay vs Scar146 should be an interesting one,Jay has added a few decent players to the team and Scar is an unknown quantity so cannot predict how this one will go, has to go down as a draw -2-2

Galatasaray vs Man utd

Gobrobz vs Voojiin will probably see Galatasaray come away with the points as i cannot see this game getting played so i expect a home win to gobrobz  as he's more active.

Sun 28th games

AC Milan vs Barcelona

AC Milan will be going all out against the Priests Barca, expect a high scoring game but one that i expect Pato to pounce -4-3 to Milan

Man utd vs Hamburg

As before,i expect Hamburg to be awarded the points in this game

Real Madrid vs Galatasaray

Scar vs Gobrobz, there can be only one,i expect Real to triumph in this one 3-1

Tottenham vs Fiorentina

Spurs will be looking towards home advantage but Fiorentina have the speed and power to hit on the break,

0-3 to Fiorentina

Valencia vs Porto

Again,i expect the home team to win here, but Porto will not roll over draw 1-1

Wolfsburg vs Arsenal

Nikkoz vs Peter,

Not having played against Nikkoz makes it difficult to predict,

Wolfsburg have there prolific front line, whereas Arsenal.......are Arsenal.Score draw methinks 2-2

Lets all make this as good as it can be guys,Aboody and the mods have put a lot into it,lets make sure we give a lot back.!

The new season is here, the time is now!

Ok guys, due to popular demand(1 Person asked) lets have a look at the next lot of fixtures for weekend 06/07 March 2010.

So far only 2 teams have 100% records,Aboody's Mercurial Man City and LancashireHaas's  Autonomous AC milan who both won their opening games,Fiorentina and Galatasaray can join them at the top by winning their outstanding games against Tottenham and Man Utd respectively. Both teams able to clinch top spot early on in the season,Galatasaray with just a 1-0 win required whereas Fiorentina will need to win by 2 goals. With a few games still to be played, hopefully before this weekends fixtures, there is still a lot more news for this report to bring you.

What about Beckhams sensational switch across the San Siro from AC to Inter? Inter also amazingly acquired the talents of "The Best player in the world" Stevie G arriving to play alongside Beckham. Those 2 deals are probably the biggest we'll se in this window, hats off to Ednick at Inter for his insite and terrier like approach in acquiring these players.

In div 1 there have been a huge amount of transfer activity, but those 2 are the ones that stand out,the "big" clubs look like they have decided to retain their best players for the difficult forthcoming season.

Down to business

With  5 games still 2 play, the only teams yet to feature this season are Tottenham and Manc utd,

Tottenham have an away trip against Port who will be looking to get some points on board after losing to Daycraigs Valencia and then travelling to face Fiorentina who had a brilliant 1st game against the mighty Real, emerging deserved winners.

Manc utd have to play away to Galatasaray who also outplayed Real Madrid in their 1st game.Man utd then host Hamburg who lost out in that amazing opening game 4-3 to Man City.

Barcelona -Villareal

is the other game still to be played.

This weeks games

Sat 06/03/10

Barcelona vs Arsenal

Priest Vees  against Peter Dalsgaard will be a tight match with tough players battling it out,Barca and Arsenal both losing in the opening round so they will both be looking to keep up with the pack,Barca still have the basis of their strong squad, whereas Arsenal have made some very astute signings, notibly acquiring the excellent Sebastien Frey from Fiorentina.A draw cries out in this one,but i will look towards the pace of the Gooners 1-2 Arsenal

Benfica Vs AC milan

INike Aguero vs lancashirehaas should be a classic,I nike playing with some of his favourite players, lanc in his eleement with a fast, pacy team, again i expect a close game, but i think Milans players will shade it 1-2 to Milan

FC Porto Vs Villareal

Both teams will want to win this one,but will the cancel each other out? Porto requiring their 1st points, while Villareal are already on the board, but i expect a Villareal win 0-2

Fiorentina Vs Valencia

Fiorentina totally outplayed Real in their 1st game and Valencia winning and drawing in their opening 2 games, this is expected to be tight,a draw seems likely but Fiorentina manager Jay is optomistic of  a result. 2-1

Galatasaray Vs Tottenham

Galatasaray having beaten Real in their opening game could be top when this game is played,Tottenham's players will be unfit due to lack of match practice, home win 4-0

Hamburg Vs Real Madrid

Hamburg having lost their opening game to Aboody, will be seething, having scored 3 goals they still lost.Scoring goals doesn't seem to be a problem for them so can Real expoit Hamburgs weakness at the back? Score draw 2-2

Inter Vs Manc Utd

I expect Inter to pound Manc Utd,Manc Utd's players are all out of shape due to the lack of a pre-season,Inter have bought wisely, but can they gel?Inter lost their opening 2 games, but Ed will be looking to get points on board when this game is played at xmas.

Manchester City Vs Wolfsburg

Aboody is top....................at the moment having won both opening games,Nikkoz  got 4 points from the opening 2 games,so this could go anyway, i'll sit on the fence on this one,2-2 draw

Sunday's games will be updated after i've had my lunch!

Morning Guys,1st lot of games for this weekend have already been done,so this is for Sundays games.

Transfer window is now closed with some frantic wheeling and dealing in the latter stages. We have also been allowed to include " Marquee" signings of up to 73 rating with a lot of teams taking up these options.

Beckford,Moses and Okaka among some of the players signed to clubs.

AC Milan vs Porto

There have been significant changes at the San Siro,Ronaldinho and 4 other players left in 1 deal to bring in The Drog and Mikel, will it be a bad decision?

Milan already with 2 wins this season will be looking to consolidate a presence at the top,but Aimoxx's Porto could have a say.Even thought they haven't been very busy  buying or selling so are they strong enough?

I expect Lancashirehaas's Milan to win this one 3-1

Arsenal Vs Benfica

peter Dalsgaard has kept the spine of Arsenals team, while making some "interesting" signings, notably Anelka from Chelsea. Can he fire them to a win?INike's benfica will be a tough test, having also brought in numerous players,Mcgeady,Wright - Philips,Trezeguet and Rodriguez the notable addees. Can they provide a good fight for Peter's quick passing style?

Will say a draw on this one, 2-2

Manc Utd Vs Manchester City

Manc Utd having not being active at all during the transfer window will lose comfortably to Aboody's frontrunners.

Manc Utd's players having lazed around the pool in Las Vegas for the last week will be totally outplayed  by the like of Di Maris,Sneijder and Silva, some of Aboody's astute signings, going to go for a big win,

0-5

Real Madrid vs Inter Milan

Bottom of the table clash

Scar and Ed having  both lost their opening games will be furious at being bottom of the league, can they turn it around this game?

Ed's Inter will provide a stern test, but with Beckham,Lucio and the "Awesome" Stevie G,i expect Ed to clinch his 1st win of the season,With Beckham scoring the winner from a free kick. 1-2

Tottenham Vs Hamburg

Spurs lost the 1st game they played on Thursday night which in turn allowed Fiorentina to top the table,"I took the lead, then my keeper kicked the ball,it bounced of Babel and went into the goal, after that Fiorentina were all over me,that was the turning point in the game,i honestly cannot think there will be a flukier goal all season, better to get my bad luck out of the way now"!

In response to the defeat on Thursday, they will be looking to bounce back against Hamburg who also lost the only game they have played thus far.Mr Mania Vs Jay Jay Wilsanio will be a close match,Spurs didnt make any signings in the transfer window so are they strong enough?hamburg made a couple of signings, again will it be enough?

Expect a draw in this one, with Crouch and Van Nostrilboy scoring respectively 1-1

Valencia Vs Galatasaray

Maxi, having being hired by Valencia half way through the transfer window will try to prove his worth, having already lost Silva and Villa,is his team strong enough? He has signed Tevez,Baptista and Ireland,we will see.Gobrobz's galatasaray already had some good players, and have added more,Agbonglahor  having signed will provide them with pace up front 2-2

Villareal Vs Fiorentina

Techno will looking to get more points on the table having only played once so far this season, drawing vs Benfica,

Techno will have to be at his best to thwart Fiorentina's attackers, with Ashley Young,Keita,Iaquinta and Babel all scoring for fun at the moment.

With these teams having never have met its awkward to predict, but i will go on form and the fact that Fiorentina will not want to give up being at the top 1-3

Wolfsburg Vs Barcelona

Nikkoz Vs Priest Vees

Nikkoz hasn't made too many signings whereas Priest has been busy, but letting Messi leave on loan and the signing of Nilmar for an exorbitant fee, could these haunt him?

I expect a tight game,but Barca will edge 1-2
