There should be some sort of reward at the end of the season for the top certain amount of clubs in each division for having the most money in their budget. The reward should be great enough to encourage teams to not only be interested in swaps. Because at this point money seems to have no value in this league.

Yes the lower rated teams were given higher budgets, but they will still never be able to obtain great players because they wont be able to include swaps that will make up for the others teams loss.

All the lower rated teams have is money, but it is no good if there is no motivation for higher rated teams with better players to obtain it.

Better if we can buy a player from outside of the league for, lets say around 90-100 mill. Maybe managers will sell their players they DONT use...

Its an awkward one that you cannot get away from,the only way to make cash worthwhile would be to ban swaps.

Cash would be king then,you would also have to ban the "you buy my player i'll buy yours" scenario,but it does open doors.

It is quite an annoying problem but as JayJay said, the only way it could probably be fixed is if swaps and player for player buys got banned.

Techno's idea is interesting, and could certainly work. If someone buys a player from outside of the league, hopefully they wouldn't be greedy about selling one of their old ones.

I think that having auctions for players outside of the league is an interesting idea. It will generate a lot if attention and interest and encourage managers to sell in order to have enough cash for the auction.

With regards to banning swaps, I know that the idea has been proposed several times, but are you really sure that it would solve the problem? What would be the incentive for a manager with a strong team to sell his players for cash instead of swapping if he cannot be sure that he can get good replacements? As you know, it can be hard enough to arrange a deal between two managers - if we ban swaps, then each manager would have to make not just one but two deals to get a replacement: first a deal to sell, then a deal to buy. And the manager he buys from would have to do the same, resulting in a long line of connected deals. I am not sure how this would work out, but the outcome may very well be less transfer activity because managers will stick to the players they have because it gets too complicated - they risk not being able to replace players they sell and therefore become more conservative.

This is all pure speculation of course, I am just thinking out loud

The problem is, I can't even buy players with 76-78 in skill. I dont really care about getting Kaka, Ibra, Rooney etc. I want to buy players that fits in my team. And in this situation, no one sell me players! They say "I want a replacement".

Well, I understand. But if you got a bench/reserves with some decent players, why can't you sell them? I started with Villareal, a decent team with 5 decent players. And what is the problem by selling me one of your reserves?

And when I finally can get a decent player, the manager is stupid enough to say, "what do I get by getting that low amount of money?". Well, it's hard to tell, but respect is one thing. For example Chrissy who left us, sold me a reserve player for 1 million! Now the other managers wants 15-20 mill for a player they never were gonna use anyway! I don't want to hang anybody out, but in this case I will tell you that 16 million for Obertan from United is way too much!

I could have given 16 mill if I had 150 mill, but when I start with 75 mill, It's not gonna happen. This is a minor problem! Should we set a standard for how much a player should cost? This is an example:

Rating/price:

75- = 1-5 mill

75-77 = 5-10 mill

77-79 = 10-15 mill

80-83 = 20++

84+ = The players will decide by themselfes!

We wont have Acutions this season, as for banning swaps we are talking about it and Trev about the rewards we are working on it

This system was created by getting all the suggestions from you guys on the thread we had every idea was put in together and made this league everyone said lets start go so i scrapped the season and cleaned everything up and all the squad just to make u guys happy and excited to start the new season, we even managed to set up a transfer market, squads and a new season 1 week earlier... Everyone and i mean everyone wanted a live draw so it can be fair teams but what happened after the draw most people cried and complained about there team because they thought they were getting a 5 star team or what ever this just proves that some guys really dont care at all just about having the best team and winning really sad....

I have been thinking for sometme now about closing this and already told a few close friends on here about this decsion and with things going on looks like this might actually be the last season for addicts

I dont want an amazing team iv been making offers for players rated under 80 and still being told no! Whats the point in having a transfer budget when no1 sells..I was only here temporary anyway until i go back to work as im going to be playin UT whenever i can from now on..Plus when i joined i took over a team bottom of the league..i worked so hard trying to get promoted last season 4 fuck all the league didnt even get finished

there is always going to be players that are unhappy,these are the guys that aren't worthwile being memebers.I got an average team,but through wheeling and dealing i am really happy with my team,yes everyone want s the best players,but you get out what you put in,the people that whinge are limited,everyone else gets on with it,please dont let the mindless few affect the many!

Aboody but i think the live drawa was fair ok i did get arsenal but just to show that it did not bother me who i got i even swapped teams for a lower startrated team yeah it is fo rfun that is why i changed teams so i can have more of a challenge it is a shame u get people moaning about it but i say tuff luck if there not happy they dont need to be here

Please dont lump me in the group of complainers, as I only started this thread as a suggestion. As you know I've been here since the middle of season 1 and have always thanked you for your hard work, and have only aimed to help whenever I can with suggestions. 

As for the people who complain about not being happy with the team they were dealt, no offense but they can F**K off. We've all paid our dues, they are lucky to have had the chance at an even draw instead of just being handed a team. 

This is as realistic of a simulation as they come, and to be quite honest nothing needs to be changed but we are lucky to have a mostly good forum of people who make positive changes possible to keep things exciting. 

Thanks to Aboody and all MODS for their work, Fifa would be a lot less of a game if not for this site!
