Rochdale defender Rory McArdle is set to replace Craig Dawson, who picked up a knock in Saturday's 3-1 win against Dagenham & Redbridge.
But fellow defender Nathan Stanton (thigh) is fit to play if the game.
New Bradford boss Peter Taylor could hand a debut to his new loan signing, Liverpool defender Robbie Threlfall.
The Bantams are without midfielder Omar Daley (hamstring), while James O'Brien is recovering from a nose operation.
Rochdale boss Keith Hill told BBC Radio Manchester:
"Peter Taylor has always done well wherever he's been.
"You're talking about a man who has managed the England Under-21s."
Bradford City manager Peter Taylor told BBC Radio Leeds:
"I know Keith Hill has done an outstanding job. They were one of the best teams in the division last season and, of course, they are the best one now.
"I know it's going to be a tough game. They're doing exceptionally well, especially at home.
"Keith has got his team very, very organised, as John Coleman did on Saturday at Accrington, so it's going to be a big test."
My Prediction: Rochdale 1-2 Bradford, If not Rochdale 9-0 Bradford lololol | |
