You dance with the devil......He was never their man, I'm suprised he lasted as long as he did.  But as a United fan I think they now have a better chance of attracting big name players.

You are right Carl, he won't do any better.  So what do they do then?  Sack him?  Like I said, Hughes never had a chance cas he wasn't their man, but they may well do the same again if Mancini doesn't deliver immediately.....and that can't be good can it?

unfortunatly when you spend that amount of money, every one near enough expects instant success, irrelative of the amount of time it takes players to gel etc etc.

And giving Man City already have a new manager would suggest this has been in the pipeline for the last week if not two at the least.

Mark Hughes has drawn too many games over the last 10 games or so and that was the final straw unfortunatly.. With the bunch of players he has and the budget he has to spend Man city are obv going to be aiming for a top 4 finish and before the top 4 start to get out of sight, They've sacked him to hopefully get back around there. Can't say that mancini is a great appointment but having said that dont know too much about him. Im sure that if he cant do the job there could be some big players leave come next june/july.

To be honest Mark Hughes wasnnt a very good manager choice for "such a great team" lol, but unfortunatey the players are to blame, he could only put out the best team he had based on their form and fitness. Dont really see Mancini lasting alot longer than Hughes did. Basically as a United fan everything about City sucks and im glad they have been brought down to reality that they cant beat the best teams and never will...

Who would have Mark Hughes at Man City as a manager?
It's like having Stuart McCall at Bradford.. going nowhere.

The richest football club in the world were stuck with the welsh rag Hughes and gave him18 months to spend £200 Million which is about  £198 Million more than the pretend manchester club spent in the same period.

Should have fired the clown last summer.
